Island rock, reggae, boat drinks, and tropical food took over E Market St for one full summer day. The first Island Rock Fest brought five live sets to Lou Lou on Market while supporting the Alzheimer's Association of Greater Kentucky & Southern Indiana.
On Saturday, August 8, 2026, Lou Lou on Market became Louisville's island for the day. Five bands filled the street with live music from noon until 9:30 PM while guests moved between the stage, the patio, tropical food, cold drinks, and festival activities.
The inaugural festival was free, open to all ages, and created in partnership with the Derby Parrothead Club. It felt like a trip without leaving E Market St, which was exactly the point.
