Etoufee
It was delicious and a good sized portion.
Cajun Sampler
This sampler was so good, I was for sure my husband was going to leave me for the chef who made it! We have been to this restaurant 3 times now and it NEVER disappoints! I challenge myself to try different dishes every time we go, but he is STUCK on that sampler, lol! For me, it has to be the boudin balls or the Chicken Carbonara. It's so hard to choose because everything we have tried has been amazing. Looking forward to our dinner there tomorrow for our 17th wedding anniversary.
Bourbon Salmon
This salmon was cooked perfectly on a bed of cheese grits topped with asparagus! It was tender and the Bourbon glaze was delicious! I can't wait to go back and try something new!
Beignets
We topped our night off with Beignets and chocolate mousse...and boy...we were back in New Orleans without leaving Louisville! They were amazing! And the mousse was the icing on the cake! Yum!!!! Worth the extra calories!
Shrimp and Grits
I am not big on grits. In fact I usually hate them. But I tasted my friend's when we were there last year and they were amazing. So this time I ordered my own and they were so good. People who like grits tell me they are the best they have ever had, and I believe them.
Cajun Sampler
Lou Lou on market is our go to restaurant when we have guests visiting us in Louisville. In the heart of Nulu it is consistently a spectacular experience with amazing food. Be sure to visit the speakeasy downstairs for a bourbon neat or exceptional whiskey sour. A++
Jambalaya
This was by far the best Jambalaya I've had outside the French Quarter. This restaurant is such a great find.
Cajun Sampler
This was amazing! The etouffee was our favorite, with the gumbo a close second. Boudin balls, crab bisque and shrimp and grits filled our table. It was a fun time, we sat outside, and Maddie was attentive and delightful. Can't wait to come back.
Bread Pudding
I loved every item we got here; from the apps, drinks, entrees and dessert. The bread pudding was so delicious and a perfect way to end our perfect meal. We ate outside and the environment was great and it felt like we were back in new orleans. Plan to go back next month for our anniversary dinner.
Louisiana Redfish
The fish was cooked to perfection, so delicious! So many fantastic dishes to choose from. Love everything about this restaurant!
